St. Giragos (Saint Cyricus) is a historic Armenian Apostolic church tucked away in the narrow lanes of the Sur district, and it is known as the largest Armenian church in the Middle East.
Reopened to the public on 7 May 2022 after extensive renovation, its basalt stonework and airy interior make it one of the most moving reminders of the city's multicultural heritage.
